Hi, It's Didem.
I convey emotions and ideas through unique illustrations with a nudge of philosophy.

Mental Fragmentation Series -
1. Accumulated Fragments of The Soul | Digital Scan of a Hand Drawn Illustration, 2023
We accumulate every thought, regret and desire as fragments within our body and soul. When we pause to take a look, we can actually see them all at once.
Mental Fragmentation Series - 2. Where Is The Missing Part of The Soul? | Digital Scan of a Hand Drawn Illustration, 2020
The mind and body tend to record and store all kinds of information,
including events and images, that shape our psyche star ting from the
moment we are born. We consciously or subconsciously try to fill that
space, so where is that missing part of the soul?

Mental Fragmentation Series - 3. Hope In Spite of Chaos | Digital Scan of a Hand Drawn Illustration, 2020
Created during the pandemic, this diptych reflects a meditative search for clarity amidst emotional turbulence. The dense, chaotic strokes evoke a sense of entrapment, while the untouched white circle—a symbol of the sun—emerges as a quiet but persistent metaphor for hope. It speaks to the resilience of the human psyche in moments of collective crisis.
How It Felt Like Series -
1. How Covid Felt Like | Digital Illustration, 2021
Even though I knew every single person in the world was

The World Is Terrifying Now That I Am Not a Child Anymore | Animated Illustration, 2024
Thrown into the world before I even found my shape—by paternal birds who probably hadn’t fully grown themselves yet—I look back at what I left behind. I find out winter nights get longer. Nightmares and responsibilities begin to cast shadows on everything. The colorful glowing stars on my childhood ceiling disappear. Still, I make wishes on falling stars, watch the clouds drift, and try to name the constellations I see.

The Ones Who Hide Series -
1. What Part of Yourself Do You Hide The Most? | Animated Digital Illustration, 2019
A person’s world is a pool of what they shield themselves with. I often hide my full self,
revealing only my eyes — the observer in me.
for the sake of the comfor t and isolation of staying unseen, yet deeply aware.
